MAHLE Honors Women’s History Month

MAHLE will celebrate women in automotive and motorsports with a monthlong social media campaign.

MAHLE Aftermarket Inc. is celebrating Women’s History Month in March by recognizing women in the automotive or motorsports industry that demonstrate exceptional ability, outstanding leadership, or a tireless commitment to their trade. Throughout the month, MAHLE is encouraging women to nominate themselves or a woman they know by posting a photo or video of the nominee on Facebook and Instagram. Participants are also asked to tag MAHLE USA in the caption of the post and include the hashtag, #MAHLEWomenMakingMovies, as well as 1-2 sentences explaining how the automotive industry benefits from increased representation of women and what the nominee loves about working in the industry. Select posts will be reshared to the MAHLE USA social channels throughout the month of March.

“MAHLE is committed to fostering gender equality and an inclusive workplace that values the contributions of all employees,” said Ted Hughes, director of Marketing, MAHLE Aftermarket North America. “We are using this social media campaign to celebrate Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day with a platform that recognizes exceptional achievements by women in the industry. By sharing their own experiences, or nominating a fellow female trailblazer, we hope these leaders encourage other women to pursue careers in the industry as drivers, technicians, managers, designers, engineers – whatever role their passion may take them.”
