This new guide serves as a tool to identify and diagnose failed engine bearings as well as to help identify engine bearing symptoms of distress. The MAHLE Clevite Online Bearing Distress Guide offers multiple high-quality images for many symptoms, and is free to the user.
This guide includes a multitude of distress and failure symptoms and multiple images for each one to assist the user in diagnosing the problem correctly. For each symptom listed, MAHLE Clevite has included appearance images as well as possible causes and the recommended corrective action.
“Bearing failure guides have existed in print form for many years, but were costly to distribute.
