MAHLE Clevite Inc. Introduces New John Deere Electronic Catalog to Heavy Duty Offering of Launchpad

Introduced in late 2009, Launchpad is a Web-based catalog that includes an electronic ordering function tied directly into customer accounts.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – MAHLE Clevite has added the John Deere electronic catalog to the heavy duty section of Launchpad, the company’s portal of electronic catalogs. The new catalog includes the option to easily search, view and/or purchase all John Deere engine parts and engine kits within one user experience. Introduced in late 2009, Launchpad is a Web-based catalog that includes an electronic ordering function tied directly into customer accounts.

Featuring a simple search option, the new John Deere electronic catalog allows users to locate John Deere engine parts and kits by entering the model or OE number and then links users to a results page, which shows the various applications and parts available. Additionally, the results page features a “Details” icon that brings up a pop-up window with interchanges, specifications, packaging data and images – with the option to click on and enlarge the image for a closer look.

As with all electronic catalogs offered through Launchpad, the new John Deere catalog includes an “Add-to-Cart” ordering function tied directly into customer accounts, so users can purchase parts just as easily as they can find them. Users do not have to be logged in to search for an application, but do need to be logged into their account to use the online purchasing tool.

“In response to the growing demand for more heavy duty electronic catalogs, we’re pleased to add the new John Deere catalog complete with search-and-order options for all John Deere engine parts and kits to our Launchpad offering,” said Jonathan Larsen, Information Technology (Application Analyst). “Our goal with our electronic catalogs is to provide convenience and satisfaction to our customers, and we will continue to expand our electronic offering.”

According to MAHLE, the John Deere section is the latest in a comprehensive list of heavy duty electronic catalogs currently available through Launchpad, including Caterpillar 3406E, Cummins B Series, Detroit Diesel, Mack, Mercedes and Navistar.
