LANSDALE, PA — Since introducing its new Professional A/C Service and Repair educational brochure last year, the Mobile Air Conditioning Society Worldwide (MACS) said it has distributed 40,000 copies of the brochure.

The result of a collaboration of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and MACS, the brochure has been distributed through MACS member shops, association and corporate partners and through individual inquiries generated by media reports.

The publication provides guidelines for consumers when their mobile A/C system requires repair. It also covers the environmental importance of professional mobile A/C service and repair.

“MACS is proud to have partnered with SAE and the EPA on the Professional A/C Service and Repair brochure; it is gratifying to have had such strong interest from the automotive industry in communicating the message of professional mobile A/C service and repair to consumers,” said MACS President and COO Elvis Hoffpauir.

Hoffpauir added that another 20,000 copies of the brochure are currently being printed for additional distribution.

Copies of the brochure are available from MACS Worldwide by calling 215-631-7020 and dialing “0,” through email request at [email protected] or can be downloaded at the MACS Web site at http://www.macsw.org/macs.asp?mfurl=about.html. Bulk quantities are also available to repair facilities for distribution to consumers.
