MACS Announces New Sponsorships for 2004 Convention

Four Seasons, a division of Standard Motor Products, has announced its sponsorship of "Crank it UP!" -- the 24th annual Convention and Trade Show of the Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide. The convention takes place January 22-24 at the Caribe Royale All-Suite Resort in Orlando, Fla. Sanden International has announced its gold sponsorship of the event, bringing drag racing legend Big Daddy Don Garlits to the convention to present the keynote speech during a luncheon on Saturday, January 24th at noon. Garlits will speak on teamwork and working toward success.

LANSDALE, PA — Four Seasons, a division of Standard Motor Products, has announced its sponsorship of “Crank it UP!” — the 24th annual Convention and Trade Show of the Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide. The convention takes place January 22-24 at the Caribe Royale All-Suite Resort in Orlando, Fla.

As a platinum sponsor, Four Seasons will host the gala welcoming reception on the first evening of the convention at 7:30 pm. The welcoming reception features an ‘under the sea’ theme where convention attendees can dive into an evening of social activity. Four Seasons is also the sponsor of the hole-in-one challenge at MACS annual golf tournament taking place January 21 at Orange County National Golf Resort in Winter Park, Fla. Players will compete for $1000 and a home putting green on the 15th hole of Orange County’s Crooked Cat Course.

Jim Johnson and Joe Noblett both of Standard Motor Products will present a seminar during MACS technical programming on the “Top Five Mobile A/C Repair Questions” fielded by their technical hotline.

The presentation will take place Friday, January 23 at 9 am. The presentation will be introduced by MACS board member Kevin Burton, Four Seasons director of business and product development.
