Lund International Receives ‘Georgia Automotive Company Of The Year’ Award

The Georgia Automotive Awards recognize individual companies for their contributions to the state and in their communities.

Lund International has been selected as the recipient of the “Georgia Automotive Company of the Year” award for 2017 by the Georgia Department of Economic Development.

Presented by Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal, the Georgia Automotive Awards recognize individual companies for their contributions to the state and in their communities. With Georgia as a premier destination for automotive manufacturers and the technology companies that are developing the transportation system of the future, the awards celebrate the industry’s collective accomplishments.

Lund International was lauded for its active participation in statewide, regional, national and international activities that demonstrate the company’s pride in its Georgia location, as well as its contributions to civic organizations and initiatives.

“This award represents the culmination of thousands of hours of work and tireless days spent perfecting every Lund International product that is seen on vehicles around the world,” said Lund International CEO Mitch Fogle. “A prestigious honor like this only serves to motivate us to work even harder at innovating and continuing to produce industry-leading products, while continuing to provide uncompromising customer service.”

Lund International designs, engineers, manufactures and markets branded automotive aftermarket accessories for passenger cars, SUVs, CUVs, light trucks and Jeeps, as well as heavy trucks. Of its 1,200 culturally diverse employees, 500 are based in Georgia, many of whom are also multi-generational. Nearly all of Lund’s products are made in the U.S.A.
