LUBEGARD Introduces Brand New 2-In-1 Combination Tip

The new 2-in-1 fitting is designed for the Kooler Kleen Transmission Cooler Line Flush product.

International Lubricants Inc. (ILI), makers of LUBEGARD automotive branded lubricants, announced the introduction and immediate availability of Kooler Kleen Transmission Cooler Line Flush with NEW 2-in-1 fitting (PN 19001-UNV).

This 2-in-1 design combines the company’s original 5/16-inch and cone tips in one fitting. The cone tip is easily unscrewed to access the 5/16-inch fitting underneath. The 2-in-1 design eliminates the need to stock multiple cans and is more user friendly with a wider range of applications including CVT and DCT transmissions. 

Kooler Kleen 19001-UNV will supersede Kooler Kleen part numbers 19001 and 19111.

CCC Report Analyzes Labor Pressures, Vehicle Complexity

CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc. (CCC) announced it has published its 2024 Crash Course Report, which indicates that increasing vehicle complexity, combined with rising labor costs and shortages, are placing persistent pressure on both insurers and repairers.

New findings show that while vehicles may be safer, more capable of avoiding crashes and more environmentally friendly, advanced technology is contributing to costlier repairs, higher claims costs and longer cycle times. Additional factors, such as scheduling backlogs, have contributed to the 60% increase in the amount of time it takes for vehicles to enter repair shops after estimate completion, compared to pre-pandemic times.
