LSI Chemical Announces Indonesian Distributor: PT Papasari

PT Papasari has over 45 years’ experience selling lubricant related products throughout Indonesia.

LSI Chemical has announced the addition of PT Papasari to the company’s growing roster of international distributors of both LSI Chemical and Hot Shot’s Secret products.

PT Papasari, headquartered in Cakung, East Jakarta, and with offices and distribution facilities in Pontianak, West Kalimantan and Pegangsaan, North Jakarta, recently signed to market and distribute the full line of LSI Chemical fuel and oil additives, as well as Hot Shot’s Secret fuel and oil additives and specialty oils for aftermarket retail.

LSI Chemical offers a full line of specially formulated additives for the downstream oil and gas industry. The Hot Shot’s Secret brand is composed of more than 40 fuel and oil additives and specialty performance oils designed for multiple markets – agriculture, RV, powersports, heavy duty transportation and automotive. All LSI Chemical and Hot Shot’s Secret products are designed to improve fuel efficiency, HP and torque while protecting against premature wear for all make and model vehicles, gas and diesel. Many products soon to be marketed by PT Papasari will feature LSI’s groundbreaking nano technology that is unlike any other product on the market in its ability to reduce wear for superior lubrication, and reduction of friction.

Ivan Prasodjo, PT Papasari product manager, will be the main contact at PT Papasari for sales of both LSI Chemical and Hot Shot’s Secret products. Currently, he is responsible for all sales related to Schaeffer Oil, FEMCO Oil Drain Plug and Hempel Marine Paint.

Prasodjo commented, “With over 45 years’ experience selling lubricant related products throughout Indonesia, it is exciting to bring on a company with the most compelling nano products on the market. LSI Chemical offers the opportunity to leverage our existing lubricant business to new markets and Hot Shot’s Secret will become our performance lubricant brand. Already we have customers that are excited about their range of products for diesel and gas vehicles. These two new product lines will fit in seamlessly with our comprehensive oil and lubricant related products.”

LSI Chemical President Todd Cawley added, “PT Papasari is poised to quickly integrate our product line into their already established automotive retail distribution network. We are very excited to work with a company that has already established business in Jakarta and throughout Indonesia, established distribution and compatible lubrication products. I feel confident that this will be a long and mutually beneficial partnership.”

PT Papasari is certified by the International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML), currently distributes Schaeffer Lubricants in Indonesia and attends annually the Indonesia International Auto Parts, Accessories and Equip Exhibition in Jakarta at the Jakarta International Expo. Founded in 1975, the company specialized first in the sale of construction and electrical installation materials before branding into automotive related products in 1990 (PT. Pakita Jaya) and steel in 1994 (Papajaya Agung). Today, PT Papasari has six company divisions and is a diverse distributor of products including medical equipment, motorcycle ties, steel coils, drain technology products, asphalt, Zinc, power tools, and more.
