Larry Samuelson To Speak At CAWA 2008 Annual Dinner Meeting

Larry Samuelson, president of U.S. Automotive Parts Group and CEO UAP Inc., will be the keynote speaker at the California/Nevada/Arizona Automotive Wholesalers' Association (CAWA) annual dinner. Samuelson started his career with Genuine Parts Co. as an executive trainee in Los Angeles and has risen through the company hierarchy to his current position. "We are so pleased to have someone of Mr. Samuelson's caliber and position in the aftermarket as this year's annual dinner speaker," said Rodney Pierini of CAWA. "He follows in the footsteps of other industry leaders who have taken time out of their very busy schedules to address CAWA members, prospective members and friends from throughout the country."

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. — Larry Samuelson, president of U.S. Automotive Parts Group and CEO UAP Inc., will be the keynote speaker at the California/Nevada/Arizona Automotive Wholesalers’ Association (CAWA) annual dinner. Samuelson started his career with Genuine Parts Co. as an executive trainee in Los Angeles and has risen through the company hierarchy to his current position.

"As has become tradition with CAWA, our annual dinner meeting kicks off Industry Week in Las Vegas and again we are doing so with participation of aftermarket leadership at its highest levels," Pierini added. 

Samuelson will discuss the future of the aftermarket industry and what businesses need to do to adjust to that future and stay competitive and vibrant in the marketplace.

This year’s dinner is sponsored by Motorcar Parts of America (MPA) and all registration fees will go to CAWA’s Memorial Scholarship Program. "We thank MPA for this year’s annual event and welcome them to the CAWA family," said Pierini.

The event will precede Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week and will take place at 6 p.m on Nov. 2 at the Rio All-Suite Casino Hotel in Las Vegas.
