KYB America Announces New Corporate Structure

Effective Oct. 1, KYB America LLC will be known as KYB Americas Corp. The name change is a result of a reorganization of the KYB companies operating in North America. The new combined organization will be headquartered in Franklin, Ind., and will serve as KYB's main regional coordination point for the remaining KYB businesses in the Americas region for OE and aftermarket.

FRANKLIN, Ind. – Effective Oct. 1, KYB America LLC, the aftermarket sales, warehouse and distribution company operating in Addison and Carol Stream, Ill., and Mira Loma, Calif., will be known as KYB Americas Corp.

The name change is a result of a reorganization of the KYB companies operating in North America. KYB America LLC will integrate with KYB Manufacturing North America Inc. to create KYB Americas Corp. This new entity will continue to operate KYB’s companies in Mexico and Panama, thereby providing improved regional strategy development for the Americas region, the company says.

“The execution of this merger will establish a larger scale company to fund improved business practices, increase regional decision-making capacity and achieve greater synergies between our OEM and aftermarket businesses,” said KYB Vice President Mike Fiorito. “It will also create a stronger company and allow our world-class facilities to firmly pursue a growth plan that will allow KYB Americas Corporation to continue as the best damper manufacturer and distributor in the Americas region.”

The new combined organization will be headquartered in Franklin, Ind., and will serve as KYB’s main regional coordination point for the remaining KYB businesses in the Americas region for OE and aftermarket.
