FONTANA, CA — Kumho Tire USA Inc. announced a price increase of up to 6 percent, effective Feb. 1.
The increase affects Kumho’s passenger, light truck and commercial truck tires. Continuing price increases for raw materials and rising shipping costs are reasons for the increase, according to David Hudrlik, vice president and director of sales.
Kumho’s last price increase took effect on June 1.

FONTANA, CA — Kumho Tire USA announced that it will increase tire prices, effective May 1. Passenger, light truck and commercial truck tire prices will increase between 3%-5%, depending on the tire model, according to Kumho.
Continuing price increases for raw materials and rising shipping costs were cited by David Hudrlik, vice president and director of sales for Kumho, as reasons for the price hike. The last time the tiremaker raised prices was in November 2003.

The company said it hopes to uncover new improvements and technologies to innovate the retread process.
Continental Tire recently opened its Continental Retread Solutions Development Center in Rock Hill, S.C., with a focus on retread process improvements and technology development. The goal, Continental says, is to bring “innovation and up-to-date retread processes to Continental’s Retread Solutions Partners and the fleets they serve.”
It uses a 3-layer filter to deliver cleaner, healthier, fresher air on the go, Lumileds said.
The brake pads are engineered to endure challenging conditions, delivering exceptional stopping power when it matters most, Akebono said.
The release provides new coverage in 53 distinct product categories and 47 part numbers for 2023 and 2024 model-year vehicles.

The new line of trailer connectors, adapters, extensions and accessories has been specifically designed for towing with light-duty and medium-duty trucks and SUVs.
The 10 new part numbers cover more than 2,191,530 applications for model years 2016-2024.
The 29 new part numbers will be available by the end of March for distributors interested in adding to their product coverage.
