Kumho Announces Price Increase

Kumho Tire USA Inc. announced a price increase of up to 6 percent, effective Feb. 1. The increase affects Kumho’s passenger, light truck and commercial truck tires. Continuing price increases for raw materials and rising shipping costs are reasons for the increase, according to David Hudrlik, vice president and director of sales.

Kumho Tire USA announced that it will increase tire prices, effective May 1. Passenger, light truck and commercial truck tire prices will increase between 3%-5%, depending on the tire model, according to Kumho.

FONTANA, CA — Kumho Tire USA Inc. announced a price increase of up to 6 percent, effective Feb. 1.

The increase affects Kumho’s passenger, light truck and commercial truck tires. Continuing price increases for raw materials and rising shipping costs are reasons for the increase, according to David Hudrlik, vice president and director of sales.

Kumho’s last price increase took effect on June 1.
