King Engine Bearings has become a certified data supplier to the SEMA DATA CO-OP (SDC) application and achieved platinum status. Platinum is the highest status rating that can be achieved through the data management organization.

King is offering more than 4,000 SKUs, one of the widest ranges of bearing materials and undersizes, which makes it even more important to provide accurate and detailed data to its customers. Being Platinum status means King has provided every applicable data field in the SDC score card.

As a Platinum data provider, King published a complete set of data on each application, including PIES and ACES data, with descriptions, images, tariff codes and sales metrics. This data aims to make it easy for retailers to understand the product they are selling and gives full information to the buyers.

“Being an SDC supplier is another step in our strategy to expand our presence in the domestic market,” said Limor Karpatkin, King’s vice president of sales and marketing. “We are pleased to set a new standard in the industry, by being the first engine bearing manufacturer to reach the highest scoring level and supply with the best data in the industry. We look forward to continuing to expand on our relationship with SDC.”
