Keystone To Open Two New Distribution Centers

In combination, the new facilities located in Cheney, Washington, and Brownstown, Michigan, add an additional 500,000-square-feet of inventory space to Keystone’s current footprint of 2 million-square-feet, enhancing service capabilities in these critical geographies.

Keystone Automotive - LogoKeystone Automotive Operations Inc. has announced plans to open two additional distribution centers, securing its foothold and extending its reach in the Pacific Northwest, Great Lakes region and both Central and Western Canada.

In combination, the new facilities located in Cheney, Washington, and Brownstown, Michigan, add an additional 500,000-square-feet of inventory space to Keystone’s current footprint of 2 million-square-feet, enhancing service capabilities in these critical geographies. Cross-dock and truck run expansion will be a likely output of the new warehouse locations, the company stated.

“We are extremely pleased to announce that we are expanding our operation once again,” said Bill Rogers, vice president and general manager of Keystone. “Our leadership role in both the RV and automotive industries is something we take very seriously. We will continue to invest in our business to meet the expectations of our customers and suppliers, supporting our objective to provide ‘Everything you need…when you need it.’ This growth is very exciting for us and should have a favorable impact in both markets.”

Both warehouses are expected to be fully operational by the second quarter of 2016.
