Keystone Supports TeamUSA Participants’ Trip to World Skills Competition

POMONA, CA – Keystone Automotive Industries is donating $2,000 to SkillsUSA to help raise funds for the collision repair and refinish competitors entering this year’s World Skills Competition.

“Keystone’s financial support will help make it possible to send TeamUSA competitors to the World Skills Competition,” said Mark Claypool, volunteer TeamUSA leader and president of Mentors at Work. “This is an opportunity for our future workforce to test their skill sets and technical capabilities.”

SkillsUSA members compete in collision repair, automotive service, carpentry and other occupational competitions at the local, state and national levels. National standouts have the opportunity to earn a position on TeamUSA, a skilled group of young professionals who will compete in the four-day World Skills Competition being held November 14-21 in Japan.

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industries working together to ensure America has a skilled work force and is currently accepting contributions in support of the TeamUSA campaign. Those interested in making a tax-deductible donation can contact Mark Claypool at 630-762-0614.
