Keystone Automotive Operations Welcomes Baja Designs To Lighting Lineup

Keystone Automotive Operations Welcomes Baja Designs Inc.

Earning its stripes in off road motorcycle racing, Baja Designs’ product lineup now extends across a variety of applications, including automotive, UTV/ATV, marine, military, agriculture and industrial.

Keystone Automotive Operations welcomes Baja Designs, a provider of performance lighting solutions, to its lighting category. For more than 25 years, Baja Designs has specialized in engineering the highest-performing LED lights on the market. Earning its stripes in off road motorcycle racing, Baja Designs’ product lineup now extends across a variety of applications, including automotive, UTV/ATV, marine, military, agriculture and industrial.

Baja Designs has been committed to standing at the forefront of lighting technology. The company’s founder and lead engineer, Alan Roach, built upon his experience as a Baja 1000 motorcycle racer to develop the first HID motorcycle race light. The company is proud to say that, as a combination of this knowledge and dedication to rider safety and comfort, Baja Design lights have won every professional and amateur motorcycle and ATV Baja 1000 class for more than 15 years.

As Baja Designs fine-tuned its HID offerings, branching into truck and buggy racing, it also became a pioneer in LED technology. The company was the first to develop a forward-projecting LED light bar, introducing it in the 2005 Baja 1000. The company continues to innovate within LEDs, specializing in light bars and auxiliary lights. The company remains committed to emerging technology, spearheading the foray into laser lighting with the world’s first laser light bar and farthest-reaching product on the market, the OnX6 Hybrid and laser auxiliary light, the XL Laser High Speed Spot.

“We call our engineers ‘The Scientists of Lighting’ due to their ability to constantly create new auxiliary and OEM replacement lighting systems as vehicles evolve,” says Baja Designs. “Our race-winning Laser, LED, and HID lights have been adopted by the vehicle racing community and can be found on most Baja 1000 winning vehicles.”

Partnering with Keystone Automotive will allow Baja Designs to expand the reach of its lighting technologies, accessing new resources, customers and business opportunities through the distributor’s vast network of retail outlets and energetic marketing initiatives.

“We are excited to welcome Baja Designs to the lighting category here at Keystone—it’s a great addition,” said Scott Percival, category manager. “Our customers and off-road enthusiasts recognize Baja as a premium lighting manufacturer. It’s impossible to attend industry events like Moab and King of the Hammers and not see their presence,” he adds. “We look forward to working with this great brand and growing together.”
