MILWAUKEE — Johnson Controls saw its ranking increase to number 58 in this year’s just-released FORTUNE 500, up from number 72 in 2008. This is Johnson Controls’ highest ranking ever on this list. The rankings were released this week, and will be seen in the May 4 issue of FORTUNE magazine. This marks Johnson Controls’ 32nd consecutive FORTUNE 500 appearance since 1978.
"It is an honor to once again receive this ranking, a reflection of the solid focus of our 140,000 employees around the world on providing long-term value to our customers. Many thanks to them for their dedication, commitment and contributions," said Stephen Roell, chairman and CEO, Johnson Controls.
