MIDLAND, Mich. Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance President and CEO John Washbish, MAAP, will be the featured speaker during the convocation ceremony for members of the 2011-2012 University of the Aftermarket Leadership 2.0 class.
Session I of the industry’s signature executive development experience will take place Sept. 11-16 on Northwood University’s Midland, Mich., campus.
Only a handful of seats remain in the class; interested aftermarket professionals are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible, as each of the past four classes has sold out. This intensive program is presented through significant financial support from the independent University of the Aftermarket Foundation.
Washbish, a Northwood alumnus and widely respected executive with more than 30 years of experience in aftermarket manufacturing and distribution, will offer his perspective on the changing role of leadership in today’s business environment. The convocation ceremony will take place Sunday evening, Sept. 11, in the rotunda of the University’s Sloan Family Building for Aftermarket Studies.
“John is a highly engaging and thought-provoking speaker,” said University of the Aftermarket Director Brian Cruickshank, MAAP. “He has seen it all and done it all, and is absolutely committed to fostering the growth of the next generation of industry leaders.”

Graduates earn 7.0 continuing education units that can be applied toward their Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) or Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) designations.
