Jim Hastie Joins Parts Authority

Hastie joins Parts Authority with more than 20 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket industry.

Parts Authority has announced that Jim Hastie has joined its executive team as vice president category management – cooling & collision. Hastie joins Parts Authority with more than 20 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket industry.

“When Jim became available, I knew it was a perfect fit for Parts Authority. His experience in cooling and collision, as well as his experience and skill set made him a ‘must-have’ for our product team,” said Randy Buller, president and CEO of Parts Authority. “I look forward to working with Jim for a very long time.”

“Parts Authority has grown as major influencer in the industry, and I am looking forward to being part of this dynamic team as the company moves to the next phase of its growth,” said Hastie.

Hastie began his aftermarket career at Perfect Cooling Industry. Since then, he has held multiple leadership roles in the cooling and collision category. In 2009, he became the CEO/president of American Condenser & Coil LLC. Most recently, he served as the vice president of product development for U.S. Auto Parts, where he led the product manager team to create an industry leading online product offering. Hastie earned a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from Chapman University and a Bachelor of Arts, Political Science from University of California, Davis.
