HARROW, Middlesex, Great Britain Keith Lomason has been appointed president of Greater China operations for global automotive market research firm JATO Dynamics. In this role, he will be responsible for leading JATO’s business in one of the world’s fastest-growing major economies.
Having started his career in the U.S., Lomason moved to Shanghai 17 years ago and brings with him 28 years of experience within the automotive industry, gained within manufacturing, business development and consultancy roles.
Lomason said he is enthusiastic about his new role, remarking, “I am thrilled to join JATO during this very exciting period of global growth. China is the largest and most competitive auto market in the world, and China OEMs are poised to become significant players in overseas markets. These two factors will make for a very challenging and rewarding experience as I work with our teams in Shanghai and Beijing to provide competitive market intelligence to all our customers.”
With offices in both Beijing and Shanghai, JATO says it is well-positioned to assist all OEMs in better understanding the market in China, and can assist China OEMs developing individual overseas market strategies.
Commenting on JATO’s new appointment, Mark Imrie, director strategy and business growth, said, “I’m delighted that Keith has joined JATO to drive the next phase of our growth in China as we continue to deliver pioneering solutions that help our customers respond to the developing needs and unique challenges of the global automotive industry.”
