Jasper Engines & Transmissions’ Leuck Named President of APRA’s Volume Transmission Division

Craig Leuck, manager of the Transmission Division at Jasper Engines & Transmissions, has been appointed president of the Volume Transmission Division for the Automotive Parts Rebuilders Association (APRA). Lueck will work with APRA board members to address industry concerns, answer the needs of volume transmission rebuilders, locate resources for information and share this information through active participation with its members.

JASPER, IN — Craig Leuck, manager of the Transmission Division at Jasper Engines & Transmissions, has been appointed president of the Volume Transmission Division for the Automotive Parts Rebuilders Association (APRA).

Lueck will work with APRA board members to address industry concerns, answer the needs of volume transmission rebuilders, locate resources for information and share this information through active participation with its members.

“I’m really excited to have been asked to participate with the board of the Volume Transmission Division,” said Leuck. “I believe this will be a good learning experience not only for me, but for Jasper as well. We have a great opportunity to learn more about our industry and share ideas with other transmission rebuilders and remanufacturers.”

The board is planning a meeting in June where they will tour a remanufacturing facility. The board will also target information on topics such as the Ford 5R110, the Freightliner Sprinter, Toyota transmissions and the transmission remanufacturing industry in general.
