Building Homes for Heroes is strongly committed to rebuilding lives and supporting the brave men and women who were injured while serving the country during the time of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The organization builds or modifies homes, and gifts them, mortgage-free, to veterans and their families. A partner since 2011, Advance Auto Parts has raised more than $4.39 million to support the program through various fundraising initiatives. The additional $100,000 donated by ITW Global Brands this year, made possible through Advance Auto Parts, will help veterans rebuild their lives, an important cause to both companies.

“Advance Auto Parts has been a strong supporter of Building Homes for Heroes since 2011. We are pleased that Advance vendors, Rain-X and Black Magic brands, are also supporting this organization by participating in the annual Building Homes for Heroes Bucket promotion. This donation will help fund the great work this charity conducts in providing homes to injured veterans and their families,” said Advance Auto Parts Executive Vice President Charles Tyson.
