ISN Says Its Tool Dealer Expo 2017 Made ‘Fireworks’ Of Its Own

Guests had the opportunity to learn about brand new products launched at Tool Dealer Expo and took advantage of deals from more than 170 vendors.

Integrated Supply Network (ISN) awarded more than $2 million dollars in cash and prizes at the 15th annual Tool Dealer Expo. The event drew in more than 3,500 attendees from around the world to spend June 30 and July 1 at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Florida. Guests had the opportunity to learn about brand new products launched at Tool Dealer Expo and took advantage of deals from more than 170 vendors.

As one of the industry’s largest tool and equipment tradeshows, Tool Dealer Expo is a place for suppliers to launch products and to deliver exclusive products only available through ISN. 30 new items were seen for the first time at Tool Dealer Expo this year and there were more than 40 new vendors in attendance. Every year, the organizers say Tool Dealer Expo grows in size: number of customers, show floor space, vendor attendance, prizes and cash back continue to increase.

This year, ISN expanded its footprint another 25,000 square feet to accommodate for vendors and introduced two new exhibition areas: “Around the Wheel” and “Outdoor/Sporting Goods.” The organizers say these areas were instrumental to the new show feel and launching new products. Outdoor products also is a unique offering to ISN and is an exclusive program with Pelican that grants customers a major selling advantage. Around the Wheel featured 14 suppliers with tire and wheel products doing live demonstrations.

Attendees had access to deals, cash and chances to win a 2017 Chevy Tahoe and 2017 Fiat Spyder 124 that were among the more than $400,000 in prizes. Tool Dealer Expo offered hands-on demos and more than 40 training forums delivered by participating vendors, as well as product training and education and advantageous pricing.

The show concluded with a Saturday night farewell awards dinner hosted by Emcee Jason Logan. ISN recognized suppliers with awards for their sales achievement and creativity and engagement in the show.

Four supplier awards that are voted on by attendees were given:

  • “Best New Product Debuted” – Wilton Atomized Cooling Fan
  • “Best Product Demonstration” – Milwaukee with the New M18 FUEL Gen II ½-inch High Torque Impact Wrench
  • “Best New Supplier” –  The NOCO Co., who designs and creates premium consumer battery chargers, jump starters, solar panels and portable power devices
  • “Most Spirit” – Ingersoll Rand for the third year in a row

ISN says “Best In Show” was given to Milwaukee for the company’s overwhelming energy in the booth, outstanding sales performance, product training and overall team spirit.

Do you speak spark plug? Most part numbers are a meaningless series of numbers and letters. But spark plugs have a language on the side of the box that can tell you what’s inside. Like any other language, there are dialects.

The nomenclature of spark plug part numbers can tell you everything from size (diameter and reach) to what materials are on the center and ground electrode. Like learning a new language, knowing how to translate spark plug numbers can open up a new way to inventory and sell spark plugs for counter professionals.
