IPC Global Solutions Name d2007 Vendor of the Year by Association of Independent Oil Distributors

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. — IPC Global Solutions, a manufacturer of automotive and heavy duty filters and supply chain management for a global supply base, has been named 2007 Vendor of the Year by the Association of Independent Oil Distributors (AIOD). Since 1998, AIOD has presented the annual vendor award to the supplier that delivers extraordinary value and best demonstrates excellence in all key service areas, especially product supply, sales support, training, marketing and customer service.

AIOD is an international marketing and buying group comprised of independently owned distributors that provide a comprehensive line of lubricants, filters, chemicals, antifreeze/coolants, car care products, industrial fluids and accessories under the Service Pro brand. IPC has been a supplier to AIOD since 2005.

Doug Roberts, executive director of AIOD, presented the 2007 Vendor of the Year Award to Gavin Rodda, director of sales and marketing at IPC Global Solutions during the 2008 AIOD Spring Marketing Conference.

“IPC Global has distinguished itself in the association for many years, but in 2007, their stellar performance clearly put them at the top,” said Roberts. “IPC Global has continually demonstrated the product quality and service integrity that we (AIOD) are always looking for in our supply chain. In addition to maintaining a very proactive approach to our business, by introducing new products and bringing them to the market quickly, IPC has also provided our 380-member professional sales force with the marketing tools and exceptional technical and training support they need to get the job done. At AIOD, we invest in people, not companies, and the team at IPC Global Solutions best exemplifies how well that investment pays off,” Roberts explained.

“We are very excited about this prestigious award,” said Rodda. “When you are recognized by a very successful organization such as AIOD, it says a lot about you and the way you do business. In the AIOD, we work side by side with some exceptional, industry-leading manufacturers, so it takes a great effort and commitment to be the best. We are very proud of our people and their dedication in serving the Association of Independent Oil Distributors.”
