Coffee and Conversation will feature panelists who provide their unique perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing our industry.

The Import Vehicle Community of the Auto Care Association has announced the launch of “Coffee and Conversation,” a new educational audio series. The goal of the new series is to engage our membership by addressing the issues and challenges facing not only our members but the automotive aftermarket as a whole.

Coffee and Conversation will feature panelists who provide their unique perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing our industry and subject matter experts to give an update on broader industry issues such as right to repair and brand protection against counterfeits.

The topic for this week’s Coffee and Conversation episode is the manufacturing shutdowns in Mexico and the impacts they are having on the supply chain to automotive OE parts, vehicle production and the automotive parts aftermarket.

Listeners will hear from Fred Snow, president, Hella, Inc. and Stephen Bearden, president, H.B. International Marketing Services. This episode covers:

• Current situation in Mexico related to manufacturing shutdowns;

• What to expect following the Mexican government’s announcement to reopen auto parts manufacturing; and
