HUBB Filters has announced it will exhibit at the 2018 Government Fleet Expo and Conference (GFX), taking place June 4-7 in booth No. 410 in San Diego, California. The company will showcase its work with a growing number of Top 100 fleets that are realizing the benefits of using HUBB. The list includes Wake County in North Carolina and Prince George’s County and Fairfax County in Virginia.
GFX is the largest annual conference of public fleets in the nation and designed for fleet managers, procurement specialists, analysts, maintenance supervisors and other who work with fleets.
HUBB CEO Scott Killips says HUBB looks forward to exhibiting at GFX and the opportunity to demonstrate that the HUBB reusable, sustainable oil filter is the solution for fleet owners looking to make a positive impact on the environment and their bottom line.
“HUBB helps eliminate conventional paper oil filter waste from entering landfills,” said Killips. “We are excited to interact with fleet specialists because we know that HUBB enables fleets to optimize their oil drain intervals, reduce oil consumption and labor costs.”
In addition, HUBB will demonstrate its new service model – the HUBB Swap Filter Exchange Program – which enables a fleet to realize all the benefits of the HUBB reusable, sustainable oil filter without the upfront investment.
HUBB Swap allows technicians to exchange the soiled inner core of a HUBB filter for a clean inner core. The dirty inner core is sent to HUBB for cleaning, inspection and certification. HUBB then sends a clean inner core back to the fleet. Fleets that adopt the program are charged an monthly fee based upon the number of vehicles on the program, which HUBB says is an affordable option.
Killips says HUBB Swap allows for even easier implementation of the HUBB oil filter, because fleets that adopt the program will find their vehicles can get in and out of the shop faster and easier during preventive maintenance.
