Honeywell Friction Materials Receives Industry Awards For Safety Campaign

"Bendix Brakes for Teen Safety" digital-social program recognized in two categories by Bulldog Reporter.

TROY, Mich. – Honeywell Friction Materials was recognized for outstanding achievement in public arelations and corporate communications by Bulldog Reporter, a producer of professional development webinars in the corporate communications marketplace.
 
The Bendix Brakes for Teen Safety program received a bronze award in the category of “Digital/Social Communications Campaign of the Year” and a silver award in the “Best Use of Video in a Digital/Social Environment” category.
 
The 2013 Bulldog Digital/Social PR Awards recognize the most outstanding achievements in corporate communications and publicity using online and social media tools and techniques. They celebrate digital/social PR strategic and tactical prowess at the highest level. The Bulldog Digital/Social Awards are among the only digital PR awards judged exclusively by digital- and social media-focused journalists and bloggers.
 
The Bendix Brakes for Teen Safety campaign is aimed at educating parents and teens on safe driving and vehicle care by emphasizing the need for proper and timely vehicle maintenance. Through consumer research and the use of digital storytelling, the campaign creates a connection for consumers between Honeywell Friction Materials, the Bendix brand and driving safely.
