Highline Warren, a leading national manufacturer and distributor of automotive products, has opened a new 267,000-square-foot distribution center in Elkton, Maryland.
By the end of 2021, the new facility will bring at least 80 full-time positions sourced from the talented Cecil County community. Highline Warren has seen considerable growth over the past several years, necessitating strategic investment to support its customers in the New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland markets, as well as across the United States.
Chief Operating Officer Mike Ziomek commented, “This distribution center reflects Highline Warren’s commitment to invest in the business to support strong growth and better serve our Northeast customers. We found great partners in Elkton, Maryland, and McConnell Development.”
Since its inception, Highline Warren has brought a unique level of coordination and efficiency through the vertical integration between manufacturing and distribution. Headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, Highline Warren’s hub-and-spoke model currently features 25 distribution and manufacturing facilities located across North America. The company’s smart strategy and rapid growth are attributed to the experienced team with decades of automotive experience and leadership, led by President and CEO Darcy Curran.
“I’m proud of our journey,” said Curran. “We’ve built a distinct, comprehensive, coast-to-coast brand to best serve our current and future customers. And our new Elkton distribution center reflects who Highline Warren is and what we do, as well as our mission to be the best to work for, buy from, and sell to.”
