Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2023 Welcomes Record Number of Attendees

HDAW 2023 Welcomes Record Number of Attendees

Annual gathering makes its return to connect HD aftermarket professionals for four days of networking, business meetings, access to the latest products and expert insights.

Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) – the largest North American gathering of heavy-duty aftermarket professionals in the industry, has made its return this week, taking place Jan. 16-19 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.

The event features four days of expert-led education, networking opportunities, personalized business meetings and a product expo that provides an exclusive view of the latest products. A record-breaking number of industry professionals is expected to take over the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center for the event this year.

“The industry has been eager to reconnect and that excitement was evident in the crowds we’ve seen at both the Leaders of Tomorrow Reception and the All-Industry Welcome reception last night,” said Brian Rieger, vice president of North America Sales, ConMet, and the supplier co-chair for HDAW‘23.“There’s no substitute to seeing products in person and meeting face-to-face.”

Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week Highlights

Sold-out Product Expo floor. The 59,000+ square foot show floor will be the HD aftermarket industry’s best place to get their hands on the latest products. With 300+ suppliers, including over 40 first-time exhibitors, HDAW’23 will offer a wide variety of products from more suppliers than ever before, exclusive show deals, detailed product specifications and information and the opportunity to build relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to maximize ROI.

More opportunities to make deals. The industry’s most successful One-on-One Business Meeting program will offer more pre-scheduled opportunities on Tuesday and unscheduled meetings on Thursday afternoon. HDAW’23 will feature the biggest One-on-One program ever, with sold-out supplier meeting rooms and 1,800+ meeting sessions scheduled across three days. Those interested in unscheduled slots can view the list of participating suppliers on their Know Before You Go email to connect with them directly for availability.

Shift, adapt and grow your leadership skills with Keynote Brian Kight. A respected advisor to businesses and sports teams, Kight will share his proven, discipline-based strategies to help businesses evolve. The session will deep dive into the two primary responsibilities of leaders and teach a timeless system for leadership that maximizes opportunity and guides you through adversity.

Heavy Duty Aftermarket industry honors. Two prestigious awards will be presented during HDAW’s opening session on Tuesday. The annual Hall Of Fame Inductee Award, in its 17th year, will be announced, along with the Distributor of the Year award, annually presented by Trucks, Parts & Service Magazine.

This year, the HDAW’23 program features peer-to-peer discussions on Tuesday and Wednesday, an additional opportunity for distributors and suppliers to engage in conversation about the key issues impacting their businesses. Attendees can opt to enjoy lunch during these roundtables by joining a designated topic table. Topics include recruitment and retention, supply chain, emerging technologies and more.

HDAW‘23 will welcome more than 2,500 executives and managers from across the industry, including distributors, suppliers, service providers, industry experts and thought leaders and more.
