Hastings Promotes Two to Director Posts

HASTINGS, Mich. —
Hastings Manufacturing Co. has promoted two executives to new positions at the nearly 100-year-old American manufacturer of piston rings.

Thomas DeBlasis has been promoted to the position of director of national sales. DeBlasis will have responsibility for piston ring sales throughout the United States and Canada.

DeBlasis has more than 30 years in the automotive aftermarket with the last two and a half years with Hastings Manufacturing as its national sales manager. He has a business degree from John Carroll University. DeBlasis will report to Bob Kollar, Hastings’ vice president of customer satisfaction.

Hastings also announced the promotion of Jeffrey Guenther to the position of senior director of international sales and worldwide marketing. Guenther will focus on the sales opportunities throughout much of the world, including Mexico, Puerto Rico, South America, Africa, Middle East, India, Europe and China.
 
Guenther has more than 20 years with Hastings, having joined the company after graduating from Central Michigan University with degrees in marketing, advertising and psychology. He will report to Bob Kollar, Hastings’ vice president of customer satisfaction.
