Grote Offers New Electrical Troubleshooting Poster Featuring Truck Lighting and Wiring Info

Grote Industries, which makes LED and incandescent lamps, mirrors, obstacle detection systems, reflective accessories and wiring components, has created a new poster with tips for technicians and counter salespeople in installation and troubleshooting of electrical wiring and lighting for trucks.

MADISON, IN — Grote Industries, which makes LED and incandescent lamps, mirrors, obstacle detection systems, reflective accessories and wiring components, has created a new poster with tips for technicians and counter salespeople in installation and troubleshooting of electrical wiring and lighting for trucks.

The full-color poster can be used for store displays and in repair shops and illustrates the nine common causes of electrical wiring and lighting failure in trucks, including moisture and corrosion, chemical damage, abrasion, tensile loads, impact, vibration, grit and sand, flexing and extreme temperatures.

Technicians can utilize the poster to help them recognize the root cause of why a product fails and counter salespeople will learn how to help customers determine precise causes of problems with a product, according to Grote Brand Manager Chris Cammack.

“Many fleets have a real problem finding skilled young technicians,” said Cammack. “This poster is a great way for those fleets to train their employees on diagnosing and alleviating problems due to truck wiring and lighting failure.”

For more information about the wiring and lighting shop poster, or any product in Grote’s full line of vehicle safety systems equipment, call (800) 457-9540.
