GRI Appoints Regional Directors

GRI announced the appointment of Giorgio Gramegna as Director for Europe and Simon Michael as Director for MEA & South America. GRI says these appointments signal the company’s commitment to being close to and serving customers in those regions, as it continues to expand its presence worldwide.

Gramegna, who has over 20 years of experience in the tire industry, will lead GRI’s efforts to grow its business in Europe. He has held various positions in the industry, including OEM Key Account Europe and Global Account Leader, according to GRI.

Michael, who has an extensive career in the tire industry spanning over 25 years, will lead GRI’s efforts to grow its business in the Middle East, Africa, and South America regions. He has held senior positions at Cooper Tire, Pirelli, and Zafco, GRI says.

“As GRI continues to expand, we are committed to attracting key individuals with valuable knowledge, experience and shared values to drive our growth strategy,” said Prabhash Subasinghe, managing director of GRI. “Giorgio and Simon’s expertise will help us strengthen our presence in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South America, and provide our customers with the highest quality products and services.”
