AKRON, OH — Goodyear Dunlop Tires Europe, an affiliate of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., has announced its intent to buy the outstanding shares of one of Dackia, a Swedish retail tire group, for an undisclosed price.

Goodyear Dunlop currently owns 50 percent of Dackia’s shares. Dackia operates more than 60 company-owned outlets and 31 contract partners throughout Sweden and has an annual sales revenue of approximately $65 million. Goodyear Dunlop expects to complete the purchase by the end of June.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
