GCommerce Continues Webinar Series Focusing On eBay Motors Parts And Accessories

Jordan Hettinga, eBay Motors general manager, will explain the ins and outs of selling on the world’s largest automotive marketplace.

GCommerce has announced a second webinar in its marketplace series, “eBay: Master the World’s Largest Automotive Marketplace.” The featured presenter will be Jordan Hettinga, senior director and general manager of eBay Motors Parts and Accessories. Hettinga will be joined by experts Curt McDowell from Channel Advisor, Mark Pollard from Epicor and Jake Olsen from WHI, to discuss the best practices for managing product listings on eBay.

Jon Sinclair, vice president for eCommerce at GCommerce, said, “It surprises many people to learn that parts and accessories sales of fitment products on eBay far exceed those of Amazon and other e-tailers. The global reach of eBay combined with its pure marketplace strategy and vast network of sellers make it a very attractive platform for aftermarket suppliers and distribution. The GCommerce webinar series is intended to cut through the chatter and offer firsthand, objective information about these exciting sales opportunities.”

As Senior Director and General Manager of eBay Motors, Hettinga is responsible for strategy and growth for the vertical and leads category managers and seller experts in identifying key levers for growth. Prior to eBay, he held several positions in the automotive industry. Most notably, as the senior director of OEM business development in North America and Asia at Snap-on Business Solutions, Hettinga led the company’s global account team in developing solutions for OEMs in parts cataloging, diagnostic tools, and dealership service programs. He also has held positions at J.D. Power and Associates and eVox Productions. Hettinga is an active automotive enthusiast and maintains current ASE certifications.

The initial webinar in the series, “Amazon: Learn to Survive and Thrive,” was extremely well-attended, according to GCommerce. The recording is available on the company’s Marketplace Selling page at https://www.gcommerceinc.com/our-services/marketplace-selling/.

Future webinars are scheduled for June and July, addressing topics including Walmart, Google Express and eCommerce Fulfillment.
