Gates Canada Receives The 2016 NAPA Supplier Of The Year Award

Gates has been a NAPA supplier for 50 years, providing the NAPA store network with a wide range of product categories, including hydraulic products, belts, hose, timing kits, tensioners, water pumps and key NAPA-branded cooling system product lines.

Gates Corp., a global diversified manufacturer of industrial and automotive products, announced that its Gates Canada division is the recipient of the 2016 NAPA Supplier of the Year Award. Gates Canada has been awarded this supplier recognition three of the past four years.

Gates has been a NAPA supplier for 50 years, providing the NAPA store network with a wide range of product categories including hydraulic products, belts, hose, timing kits, tensioners, water pumps and key NAPA-branded cooling system product lines that have contributed to the success and recognition of the NAPA brand in the marketplace.

“Thanks to Gates’ market leadership, product quality, cataloging capabilities, technical and sales support, NAPA stores enjoyed significant sales increases on the Gates’ product lines in 2016,” said Tom Hunt, vice president, product development, NAPA. “Gates has always been a fantastic partner to work with so this award is well-deserved.”

On behalf of Gates, Jack Ramsey, senior vice president of Gates North America Automotive Aftermarket, said, “What is most rewarding is that this recognition by a key customer like NAPA goes far beyond a typical sales award and recognizes all facets of the business, including sales, marketing, production, distribution, engineering, finance, customer service, quality and other business elements… a total team recognition.”
