Gaither Tool Returns to SEMA 2022

Gaither Tool Returns to SEMA 2022

The team from Illinois-based Gaither Tool says it was constantly busy throughout the four-day event.

After three years’ absence at the SEMA Show due to the COVID pandemic, the enthusiastic team from Illinois-based Gaither Tool says it “bounced back in superior style” and were among the fortunate exhibitors who were constantly busy throughout the four-day event.

Gaither Product Manager Daniel Brahler commented, “We had no downtime at all as the awesome turnout and overall atmosphere at SEMA 2022 meant our team was continually greeting both our established customers and plenty of newcomers to our booth.”

Showcased on Gaither’s display area was the all-new TRAC Tire Jack, which attracted the attention of many new visitors. The TRAC Tire Jack and its inventor – Kevin Robinson – won the SEMA Launchpad competition for the most innovative new product of 2022.

The jack itself is very simple in design: With a steel frame and metal roller, the jack’s simplicity and usefulness are what drew crowds to the Gaither booth, all eager to learn this new red tool’s purpose. The TRAC Tire Jack is designed to use leverage to lift heavy wheel assemblies to and from a vehicle’s hub. The Gaither team said it was very busy with demonstrations of the TRAC Tire Jack, and with another tool that fans of the Gaither brand will be very familiar with: Gaither’s Bead Bazooka, which returned to the SEMA Show with its second-generation model.

Brahler added, “The significantly improved and ultra-lightweight second-generation version of our Bead Bazooka had visitors swarming round the booth. Showgoers were able to test it out themselves, which proved to be very useful for real tire guys to give the Bead Bazooka a try before getting one of their own.”

The tool’s serviceable valve, more powerful 2-inch opening, and overall effectiveness when it comes to bead seating had the masses excited and eager to get their own.

The TRAC Tire Jack and the Bead Bazooka line of products brought a large majority of showgoers to visit the Gaither booth, but many of them ended up staying for a number of other Gaither products on display. Gaither’s ecube, Jack the Mech, and Moore Safe jacks all made big impressions at the SEMA show as well.

The fourth-generation e-cube’s latest upgrades and changes were on display at the show. Demonstrations were available upon request where visitors could ask questions in real time regarding this totally unique piece of equipment that has taken the global mobile tire fitting market by storm.

Whilst Gaither’s Winntec brand introduced a new “all-in-one” Jack-The-Mech power box and air compressor, which can effectively charge a vehicles battery and inflate tires in any roadside situation.

Finally, the Moore Safe Jack made a very receptive return to the show, this time with a mini version of itself. The “shorty” version of this 20-ton bottle jack includes the same features and interchangeable jack heads, but in a significantly more compact frame.

Brahler concluded, “There is no doubt that this year’s SEMA Show was by far the most successful trade show ever for Gaither which has encouraged the Gaither brand and team to keep on producing even more innovative new products in the future.”

Do you speak spark plug? Most part numbers are a meaningless series of numbers and letters. But spark plugs have a language on the side of the box that can tell you what’s inside. Like any other language, there are dialects.

The nomenclature of spark plug part numbers can tell you everything from size (diameter and reach) to what materials are on the center and ground electrode. Like learning a new language, knowing how to translate spark plug numbers can open up a new way to inventory and sell spark plugs for counter professionals.
