Fullbay’s 'State of H-D Repair Survey' Now Open

Fullbay’s ‘State of H-D Repair Survey’ Now Open

The anonymous survey asks industry professionals to share their experiences with heavy-duty repair shops over the past year.

For the third consecutive year, Fullbay announced it launched a survey for its report on the State of Heavy-Duty Repair. The anonymous survey asks industry professionals to share their experiences with heavy-duty repair shops over the past year.

Fullbay says the survey results will allow it to deliver a comprehensive report of definitive benchmarks that will provide transparency of the current state of the industry to shop owners, fleet managers and key stakeholders. Part shortages, industry trends, and finances are among the many topics covered.

Fullbay continues it will combine real-world shop data with the survey results, with the hope of bringing improvements and recognition to the industry. The report published from the survey results is the only report focused exclusively on the commercial diesel industry and will be available free to download in early 2023, Fullbays adds.

“We look forward to analyzing the survey responses and sharing the insights with shop owners, with the goal of helping them increase efficiency and revenue,” said Patrick McKittrick, CEO of Fullbay. “Hearing the voices of those on the frontline of our industry allows the industry as a whole to know what challenges shops are facing, and hopefully to provide solutions.”

The report will provide answers to questions like:

  • How the parts shortage is disrupting commercial repair;
  • Technician benchmarks for efficiency, hourly wages, and more;
  • Industry trends for common services performed in commercial repair.

Fullbay says the survey will take a maximum of 10 minutes to complete, with an average completion time of eight minutes. As an incentive, all participants that complete the survey will be entered to win 10 $100 Amazon gift cards, and 20+ Fullbay swag packages that include a shirt, hat, charging cable, pen, tumbler, stickers and more.

The survey is found here and will close on October 10. The 2021-2022 report, published from last year’s survey results can be found here.
