King Engine Bearings Headed To Autosport UK 2020

King will display three new polymer-coated materials for popular race applications, and its range for motorcycle bearings.

Following successful show exhibits at SEMA and PRI, King Engine Bearings is heading on to the AUTOSPORT UK Trade Show, a unique opportunity to introduce its new race bearings range to the European market.

King will be displaying three new polymer-coated materials for popular race applications as well as its new range for motorcycle bearings.

King released three new series of polymer coating materials at SEMA 2019 for the most challenging applications out there.

Starting with the GPC – a silver-based material, which is designed to exceed new and upcoming engines’ load capacity. The GPC tri-metal material handles 17,000 PSI compared to available race materials that peak at 11,000 PSI. Continuing with a special coated version for Top-Fuel and Promod applications, designed to preserve the surrounding engine parts under extreme conditions. Another solution is a new bi-metal polymer coated material designed initially for start stop engines but which also is used for engines requiring additional seizure resistance.

Unique Tailor-Made Solution For Powersports Vehicle Racing & Cruising

Following in-depth research on performance powersports engine needs, King has introduced the industry’s first high-performance powersports engine bearing line.

King’s Powersports line utilizes MaxBlack and a smart wall thickness design with graded tolerances to preserve the exacting hydrodynamic regime required by high RPMs. They are available in thicker and thinner 5 grades of STD to produce less or more clearance, as well as 5 grades of 0.25mm to fit ground/resized crankshafts. These bearings are perfectly suited for both on-track competition and touring/cruising riders, according to King. The Powersports bearings are now available for Hayabusa, Suzuki GSX-R1000 and Kawasaki ZX-14/R.

See King Engine Bearings Jan. 9-12 at booth No. 3764. Hall 3, Autosport International 2020, National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, United Kingdom.
