Former Goodyear Exec Named Alcoa Cast Auto Wheels President

Former Goodyear executive Kevin Kramer has been named president of Alcoa's Cast Auto Wheels division. In this role, Kramer will be responsible for the development and growth of Alcoa's cast auto wheel business worldwide. Kramer comes to Alcoa after a 21-year career with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Akron, Ohio, where he most recently served as vice president Original Equipment Sales, North American Tires.

PITTSBURGH — Former Goodyear executive Kevin Kramer has been named president of Alcoa’s Cast Auto Wheels division.

In this role, Kramer will be responsible for the development and growth of Alcoa’s cast auto wheel business worldwide. Alcoa currently produces cast aluminum auto wheels at plants in the U.S., Canada, Venezuela and Italy. Kramer will be located at the Alcoa Automotive, Aerospace and Commercial Transportation office in Cleveland, Ohio.

Kramer comes to Alcoa after a 21-year career with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Akron, Ohio, where he most recently served as vice president Original Equipment Sales, North American Tires. During his career at Goodyear, which began in 1983, he held positions in sales, marketing and business management. More recently, he held a series of marketing and management roles in the company’s North America tire business preceded by assignments in Goodyear’s Conveyor Belt and Engineered Products Divisions. Earlier, he served in a series of progressively significant sales and marketing assignments in the U.S. and Asia-Pacific region.
