Five Students Receive GAAS Scholarships funded by ASC Industries Grant

NORTH CANTON, Ohio – Recently, five high school students were awarded with Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS) Scholarships from a pledge made on behalf of ASC Industries’ “Customers Who Care” program.

Brandon Dailey of Schoolcraft, Mich.; Matthew Elwer of Delphos, Ohio; Michael Healy of Lima, Ohio; Mitchell Harble of Newark, Ohio; and Stephanie Spalding of Newburyport, Mass.; were the five applicants chosen for the GAAS scholarship dollars provided on behalf of ASC’s customers. Dailey, Elwer and Healy will attend the University of Northwestern Ohio. Harble and Spalding will attend Ohio Technical College.

Last year, ASC Industries pledged $5,000 on behalf of its customers for the second consecutive year to the GAAS scholarship fund, which is designed to aid students in pursuing their careers in the automotive aftermarket.
