Founding Federated Auto Parts member, Fisher Auto Parts, has established a scholarship program to support the educational goals of children and employees of Federated Car Care Center members. The new scholarship program was announced today by Bo Fisher, CEO of Fisher Auto Parts and chairman of Federated Auto Parts.
“Fisher Auto Parts is pleased to announce the establishment of a scholarship fund specifically for our valued Federated Car Care members,” said Fisher. “We believe it is important to make an investment in the future of our youth and support our customers with the edification of their children and employees.”
Fisher Auto Parts will award 12 scholarships annually, each with a value of $2,500, to children or employees of Federated Car Care customers of any Federated Auto Parts member. To qualify, candidates must meet the criteria outlined on the automotivescholarships.com website and must name Federated in the sponsor section of their completed application.
“Bill Maggs and the APSG team inspired us to move forward with this important initiative with their demonstrated passion for education,” continued Fisher. “We are delighted that Pronto will be matching these funds to support Pronto customers and join us in promoting education for the betterment of our industry.”
Fisher Auto Parts has been a longtime supporter of education, establishing the Art Fisher Memorial Scholarship program in memory of Federated Auto Parts founder and industry icon, Art Fisher. This year, 10 scholarships were awarded to students preparing for careers in the automotive aftermarket.
“We are proud to carry on the tradition of supporting education that was so important to my father and show our appreciation for our loyal customers through this scholarship program,” concluded Fisher.
