First Edition Of Chengdu International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts And Aftermarket Services Expects Strong Attendance

Nearly 600 exhibitors from 13 countries and regions are set to participate in the event, which takes place July 21-23.

The first edition of the Chengdu International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts and Aftermarket Services (CAPAS,  to be held July 21-23 at the Chengdu Century City New International Exhibition & Convention Center, China, has attracted nearly 600 exhibitors from 13 countries and regions.
 
The countries and regions represented include Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Slovakia, Taiwan and the U.S.  In addition, more than 20,000 domestic and international visitors are expected at Southwest China’s 35,000-square-meter, one-stop trading platform, which covers the main automotive sectors of parts and components, accessories and tuning, as well as repair and maintenance.
 
Commenting on the opening of the show, Jason Cao, senior general manager, Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd., said, “CAPAS is Messe Frankfurt’s first trade fair in Southwest China. We are launching this show because we see vast business opportunities in the region. We are positive about making the show Southwest China’s leading trade fair for automotive parts and the aftermarket industry as Messe Frankfurt owns the global brand Automechanika, which is the world’s largest automobile aftermarket trade fair brand. There are Automechanika fairs held in Asia, Europe, North America, South America and Africa. In addition, we have extensive global network and exhibition expertise as well as our co-organizer’s resources.”
 
To offer more business opportunities and to enhance the show experience, buyers will be able to source from the Sichuan Auto Parts Zone, which is organized by CCPIT-Sichuan, as well as the commercial vehicle parts pavilion arranged by the China Commercial Vehicle Parts Market Federation. In addition, there are pavilions from Ningbo, Taizhou, Wenzhou and Yuhuan, where buyers can source the most advanced products and technologies from these cities.
