Federated Auto Parts has reported that its “Get Dirty with Kenny” events have been so popular and successful, that several Federated members have hosted their own “Get Dirty” experiences around the country and the response has been phenomenal, according to J.R. Bishop, motorsports and event marketing director for Federated Auto Parts.
“Our annual ‘Get Dirty with Kenny’ driving experience is always a really popular event, so we decided to take it on the road this year so even more customers could participate,” said Bishop. “Many Federated members have hosted Kenny Schrader and his team at local dirt tracks already this year and they have told me they enjoyed it so much that they want to do it again. I’m confident that those members scheduled to host Kenny and his crew later this year will feel the same way, too.”
The company says Federated members have been unanimous in their praise for the local “Get Dirty with Kenny” program. Kurt Vleck, president of Federated-member Lafayette Warehouse, hosted a customer outing in June at Kokomo Speedway and said he was ecstatic with the outcome. “Kenny and his team provided an over-the-top experience for our customers and staff,” said Vleck. “We would have missed out on this opportunity if it had not come to our town as the majority of our customers cannot leave their businesses to travel to this kind of function. This was the best customer relations event we have ever done and Kenny is one of the best personalities with customer relations I have encountered.”
Another Federated member, Vaca Valley Auto Parts of Fairfield, California, hosted its own “Get Dirty” event for its Federated Car Care customers in June at the Antioch Speedway and the outcome was just as outstanding, according to Traci Taylor, sales manager for Vaca Valley. “Getting dirty with Kenny Schrader was a great experience for us, our customers and our vendors. It is a day that our customers are still talking about.”
