Federated Honors Outstanding Members

Federated Auto Parts presented its most prestigious member awards at its annual meeting held April 23-26 in Dallas. Mike Jacabacci of Woodbury Automotive Warehouse was presented with the Art Fisher Memorial Membership Award. Cliff Hovis of Hovis Auto & Truck Supply was named the Co-Man Member of the Year and Duke Young of Pat Young Service Co. was selected as the Outstanding Marketing Member of the Year. The late Marvin Mastroff, a longtime Federated member, was honored with a special Art Fisher Memorial Award, which was accepted by his son Russell Mastroff.

STAUNTON, Va. – Federated Auto Parts presented its most prestigious member awards on April 30 during its annual meeting held in Tampa, Fla.

Don Bickle Jr. of Warehouse Inc., Hays, Kan., received Federated’s highest member honor, the Art Fisher Memorial Membership Award. Presented annually, the Art Fisher Memorial Membership Award honors a Federated member who has demonstrated tremendous dedication through leadership and support of Federated’s programs, assisting the membership in becoming one of the nation’s premier automotive program distribution groups.

In addition, ASAP Automotive Warehouse of Midvale, Utah, and Parks Auto Parts Inc. of North Charleston, S.C., were both honored with Co-Man Member of the Year awards. Vaca Valley of Fairfield, Calif., was named the Outstanding Marketing Member of the Year, receiving a brand new Chevy HHR for their exceptional marketing efforts.

The Co-Man Member of the Year is awarded each year to the participating member that has shown outstanding dedication and support to the co-man operation and programs. The Outstanding Marketing Member of the Year is an annual award presented to the member who conducts superior marketing programs that promote the Federated brand name.

“It is with great pleasure that Federated recognizes and honors these outstanding members,” said Bo Fisher, chairman of Federated Auto Parts. “Each has played an important role in the growth and longevity of Federated. There would not be a Federated Auto Parts without its members and these awards acknowledge their commitment to the success of Federated.”
