Federal-Mogul To Support Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts With Matching Donation Of ANCO Rebate Payouts

Company will match consumer rebates up to $50,000 with contribution to American Red Cross Disaster Relief.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The ANCO Wipers brand will help bring vital aid to those affected by Superstorm Sandy and other disasters through a matching contribution announced earlier this week by Federal-Mogul Corp. Federal-Mogul will match rebate payouts in the current ANCO “Make it a Better Car” consumer promotion, up to a total of $50,000, in a contribution to American Red Cross Disaster Relief. To help maximize the contribution, the company also is extending the promotion an additional month, through Dec. 31, 2012. The ANCO promotion offers rebates of up to $20 to consumers who purchase qualifying wiper blades.

“We hope this contribution – made on behalf of Federal-Mogul and the vehicle owners who rely on ANCO wipers – will help bring much-needed support and comfort to the millions whose lives have been affected by this devastating hurricane,” said Michael Proud, director of marketing, North America, Federal-Mogul Aftermarket.

ANCO wipers are available through leading automotive parts and service providers throughout the U.S. Consumers can identify the right ANCO wipers for their vehicles by using the www.FMe-Cat.com electronic catalog or www.GetANCO.mobi smartphone website.
