Federal-Mogul Opens Seventh Facility in China

Federal-Mogul is expanding its presence in China with the opening of a 1,800-square-meter distribution facility in Shanghai. In addition to serving as a distribution center for China, the facility will also be used for the packing and storing of imported components for local distribution or export, redistribution of locally manufactured products, as well as for product assembly. Products housed at the site will be exported to Asia, Europe and North America.

SOUTHFIELD, MI — Federal-Mogul is expanding its presence in China with the opening of a 1,800-square-meter distribution facility in Shanghai.

The new distribution center is Federal-Mogul’s seventh facility in China. The other facilities are located in Anqing, Guangzhou, Nanchang, Qingdao, Wuhan and Shanghai.

The effort was in line with ZF's dedication to sustainability, zero-waste, and circularity—which includes remanufacturing to reduce resource use and enable a second life for many products, the company said.
