SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — Federal-Mogul reports that it has once again expanded its industry leading MOOG steering and suspension product line with dozens of new control arms, tie rods, ball joints and other premium-quality replacement components for millions of popular late-model foreign nameplate and domestic passenger vehicles. The MOOG brand offers comprehensive coverage of the North American car parc, according to Federal-Mogul.
Included among the new parts are premium front lower ball joints for 2004-2009 Nissan Quest minivans (No. K500129, right and left) and BMW X3 models (No. K500079, left); a front sway bar link kit for 2009-2011 Honda Fit and 2010-2011 Honda Insight models (No. K750381, right and left); and front lower control arms with ball joints for Chevrolet Blazer and S10, GMC Jimmy and Sonoma, and Isuzu Hombre vehicles ranging from the 1995 through 2005 model years (No. K620251, right; No. K620252, left).
Premium MOOG components include a variety of advanced features engineered to enhance product performance and help ensure superior durability, the company says. The new MOOG ball joints feature the brand’s trademark all-metal “gusher” bearing, which allows grease to penetrate all load-bearing surfaces for longer life, and include full-ball studs that provide 360 degrees of smooth, even rotational movement for more responsive steering. Each ball joint also is equipped with a grease fitting and premium MOOG boot for serviceability and superior durability, adds Federal-Mogul.
“Every month, the MOOG engineering and product teams develop and introduce an array of innovative parts that address the emerging repair needs of professional service providers and their customers,” said Mark Boyle, director, steering and suspension products, Federal-Mogul. “It’s our mission to provide customers with all of the parts they need, when and where they need them. This combination of superior quality and coverage is why MOOG is the industry leader and has earned the trust of technicians.”
