Eneos Motor Oil Partners With Hanson Distributing Co.

Hanson Distributing is one of the largest independent automotive aftermarket warehouse distributors in the western U.S.

Eneos, Japan’s largest oil company and supplier to the majority of Japanese vehicle manufacturers – has announced a partnership agreement with Hanson Distributing Co., one of the largest independent automotive aftermarket warehouse distributors in the western United States.

Hanson Distributing was founded in 1954 by Merrill and Marjorie Hanson in the garage behind their house in San Gabriel, California. Over the past 60 years, the company has grown and prospered under its second-generation leadership and is proud to also have the family’s third generation heavily involved in the business.

With 18 locations, including 12 HMC California store locations, two Express locations, three branch warehouses, and one 200,000 square-foot distribution center, Hanson has an extensive network for quick fulfilment. This network allows the company to meet its mission statement: Hanson Distributing Co. is dedicated to efficiently deliver on all automotive replacement part needs through supply chain expertise.

“Hanson Distributing Co. and the Hanson family are very pleased to partner with ENEOS to better serve the independent auto parts stores, service dealers, and ultimately the motoring public of Southern and Central California,” said Dan Hanson Jr., vice president, Hanson Distributing. “It is gratifying to see years of mutual respect and friendship blossom into a true partnership and we thank ENEOS for its commitment to work alongside us as we both strive to grow our business and meet our common goals. Our focus has been and continues to focus on building a portfolio of products of the highest quality featuring the latest technology and with an original equipment pedigree where possible, and ENEOS meets the mark in all three categories.”

In response, Toshiyuki “Terry” Hasebe, president of JX Nippon Oil & Energy USA, creators of ENEOS, stated, “We’re excited to announce this new partnership with a solid network of operations in California, a state long known for its automotive culture. ENEOS welcomes Hanson Distributing Co. as a valued asset to our North American distribution network.”

Based in Azusa, California, Hanson Distributing Co. is a member of Federated Auto Parts, and services jobbers, installers, fleets and fee warehousing, logistics and fulfillment. You can find its locations here: hansondistributing.com/locations
