Eaton Named Supplier Of The Year By PACCAR Parts For Second Consecutive Year

Eaton was selected from a group of 50 PACCAR Parts suppliers for its outstanding performance in several critical areas, including achieving a 98 percent on-time delivery rate, participation in regional training events and supporting a joint marketing program to enhance sales.

Eaton - LogoEaton has been named Supplier of the Year by PACCAR Parts, a division of PACCAR Inc., for the second consecutive year for its aftermarket operations in Mexico and Latin America. PACCAR is a global technology leader in the design, manufacture and customer support of premium light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks.

Eaton was selected from a group of 50 PACCAR Parts suppliers for its outstanding performance in several critical areas, including achieving a 98 percent on-time delivery rate, participation in regional training events and supporting a joint marketing program to enhance sales.

Other criteria for the award included:

  • Sales growth in the region;
  • Product portfolio expansion;
  • New marketing programs; and,
  • Innovative new technologies.

The award was presented to Benjamin Gomez, sales manager, original equipment, Vehicle Group North America, by PACCAR Parts CEO David Danforth, on May 18. Gomez congratulated his team for their efforts, including account managers Christine Elder, who is based in Galesburg, Michigan, and Jose Manuel Gomez, who is based in Mexico.

“We are honored to be recognized for the second year in a row by PACCAR Parts, one of our strategic commercial partners,” said Benjamin Gomez. “I would like to express my gratitude and recognition to those from our Eaton team who have worked closely with PACCAR Parts. To win this award two years in a row is exceptional and demonstrates our continued pursuit of customer service and excellence.”

Eaton has been a supplier to PACCAR Parts for more than 25 years, providing the aftermarket truck parts division a number of components, including reman transmissions, transmission parts and clutch assemblies. PACCAR Parts is a global leader in the distribution, sales and marketing of aftermarket parts for heavy- and medium-duty trucks, trailers, buses and engines.
