KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Eaton Corp. has announced that Jim Sahli has been named to the new position of director global field sales and marketing for the Vehicle Group, effective April 1. In his new role, Sahli will report directly to John Coll, vice president global marketing for Eaton.
“Jim’s broad experience and exceptional skills uniquely qualify him to deploy the end-user marketing strategy in all regions of the globe similar to the Roadranger field marketing model that differentiates Eaton in North America,” said Coll.
Sahli joined Eaton’s Truck Components Business in 1979 and has held numerous sales and marketing leadership positions. Most recently, he served as director field sales and marketing for Truck North America. He holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mich.
Eaton also announced that Mandar Dighe has been named director field sales and marketing for Truck North America, also effective April 1. In his new role, Dighe will report directly to Tim Sinden, president of Truck North America.
“Mandar’s strong technical knowledge and wide range of business development and sales and marketing experience make him a great choice to lead the Roadranger Field Marketing organization,” said Sinden.
Dighe joined Eaton in 1998 as a participant in the Operations Management Development Program. In addition to his recent role as manager, market development and product planning for the Light Duty/Off Highway Transmissions business, Dighe served as integration manager for Eaton’s Fuel Emissions and Safety Controls business; plant manager of Eaton’s Athens, Ga., supercharger facility; and product strategy manager for Eaton’s Air Induction and Cylinder Head Systems business. Dinge has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from GMI Engineering & Management Institute; a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan; and a master’s degree in manufacturing management from Pennsylvania State University
