DRiV Receives 2020 Auto Value And Bumper To Bumper Award

The award was presented at the Auto Care Association’s Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN) Knowledge Exchange virtual conference on May 6.

The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Inc. has announced DRiV as the winner of the 2020 Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper Receiver’s Choice Award, presented at the Auto Care Association’s Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN) Knowledge Exchange virtual conference on May 6. DRiV was praised for its exceptional contributions in a variety of categories, including images, marketing descriptions, product details and attributes, and timely delivery of quality data.

“Our trading partners rely on us to provide accurate, timely product information to help them deliver outstanding service at the point of sale,” said Jason Riegel, director, Americas product content, DRiV. “We are very proud and honored to accept this award from the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, as it underscores the benefit of building lasting customer partnerships and the added value that comes with world-class product data and related content.”

The Receiver’s Choice Award honors organizations that specialize in accuracy and completeness of content management. Each year, Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper recognize a recipient for providing high-quality content, including Aftermarket Catalog Exchange Standards (ACES), Product Information Exchange Standard (PIES), digital assets, and other customer-specific formats.

The 2020 award was presented by Alliance’s Vice President and Chief Information Officer Dale E. Hopkins and Software Architecture Director Doug Wiggin.

“DRiV has a very talented team of content professionals who are focused on delivering the high-quality content our professional technicians need in order to provide exceptional service to their customers,” Hopkins said. “This specific award goes to their Monroe content team. On behalf of our Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper shareholders: Congratulations on a job well done!”

In order to be eligible for the award, DRiV was required to meet standards of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, consistency, delivery, communication, and more.

“Monroe’s execution of product information is superior. It’s the perfect complement to their outstanding ride solutions,” Wiggin said. “Good data translates to having the right part in the right place at the right time. Monroe helps us with their strong consistent data. We also appreciate having the ACPN be the vehicle for this recognition and fostering the path to great content.”

ACPN is the only community in the automotive industry that exclusively focuses on the education and professional development needs of content management professionals and promotes industry technology standards and offers a forum for discussion within the industry. Its annual conference was held online May 3-6, 2020.

ACPN helped to create the data principles of ACES and PIES. Through these efforts, auto care catalog manager members are able to sell more product, reduce costs, and increase efficiency through catalogs.
